Dutch DJ & producer - Julian Anthony - shares with us his top tracks and tells us why he’s looking forward to play at Orange Yard on the 8th Feb.

3 favourite tracks:

Grobbie - Headshot (Samuel Deep Edit)

'This Edit was probably my first introduction to the 'Slapfunk' sound which inspired me to produce music when I first started out. I don't play this one a lot actually but I can definitely say this would still work on any dancefloor.

Gene On Earth - Crimbo

Everything this guy makes has been outstanding. I had the honour to play
before Gene at Thuishaven last year which was so much fun. He's a really
nice and humble guy in person and a sick DJ as well.
This one hasn't left my record bag ever since I've bought it.

Helium - Try Me

I always love closing a set with a tune that people won't forget or that
sends them home with a certain vibe. Normally I don't play a lot of
stuff with vocals but this one really does it for me. Vibes all over!

Thoughts on playing in London:

I'm really looking forward to playing in London again and especially in Orange Yard. I've only heard good stories about the soundsystem and the vibe of the venue so I can't wait. I was lucky enough to play a surprise b2b2b at the Infuse x Slapfunk party in London last year together with Laidlaw and Pascal Benjamin. We've played for 8 hours which has been an absolute highlight to my musical journey so far. The thing I love about London is that people are really in for a party and have an open mind to the music that gets played. Also seeing old friends again a meeting new people abroad is something I really love so I feel blessed to be able to play outside of my own country.
